We write often in this space about Les Dames d’Escoffier Nashville — mainly because they are an extraordinary collection of women doing great things for the local culinary community by raising funds to support the next generation of culinary professionals and demonstrate excellence and leadership within the community.
But it’s important to remember that the local chapter is a member of a global organization, Les Dames d'Escoffier International. In order to support the overarching structure of LDEI, they are in the middle of a fundraising auction, and when a group of industry powerhouses like these dig in their Rolodexes and start calling for auction items, you end up with some pretty remarkable lots.
Among the things that are on offer are a weekend stay at Wente Family Vineyards, tickets to Big Sur Food & Wine Festival 2025, Charleston Wine & Food 2026, a week stay in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and 30 more items. Surprisingly, the bids aren’t crazy high yet — but the auction does run until May 23, so you might have to keep bidding if you want to win a week on the Big Island of Hawaii, but it’ll be worth it! Plus, you’ll be helping support this really important organization.
