Early this summer, when Margaret Littman shared the sad news that Nashville’s favorite cheesemonger, Kathleen Cotter, had passed away, she mentioned that Kathleen’s friends and family planned to hold a celebration of life in September or October.
Kathleen's loved ones have now finalized the details, and anyone whose life was enhanced by knowing Kathleen and eating her cheese is invited to a celebration on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. at El Fuego Restaurant (3917 Gallatin Pike). Mexican food was Kathleen’s favorite — no surprise when you consider how important cheese is to that cuisine.
If you’re unable to attend, you are encouraged to order some queso sometime soon and think fond thoughts about her!
