José Andrés Group has announced it is entering the Nashville market with multiple restaurant and bar concepts opening at W Nashville in early 2026.

The three concepts set to operate within the high-rise Gulch hotel are Zaytinya, Bar Mar and Butterfly, according to a release.

Zaytinya is a Mediterranean restaurant highlighting the cuisine of Turkey, Greece and Lebanon. The concept originally launched in Washington, D.C., more than 20 years ago and now has locations in New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and South Beach, Miami.

Bar Mar will focus on seafood standards and JAG’s "globally inspired meat selections," according to a release. The Nashville location will be the second Bar Mar, with the original location in Chicago.

JAG has already opened cocktail lounge Butterfly. Located on the 13th floor of W Nashville, Butterfly features nearly 360-degree views of the city.

“Nashville has this incredible spirit,” José Andrés says in the release. "The music, the people, the energy. Of course people know it as a music city, but more and more I think we can call it an amazing food city, too. There’s a real culinary movement happening here, and we’re so proud to become a part of it."

Beyond these restaurants, hotel guests will experience a reimagined food and beverage concept at WET Deck. Additionally, a new premium José Andrés Group banquet and catering menu will be introduced at the hotel, which is located at 300 12th Ave. S. in The Gulch.

“W Nashville has always been a place where bold design, elevated experiences, and local culture collide, and our partnership with José Andrés Group takes that vision to the next level,” says Christopher Cannon, general manager of W Nashville.

“We’re honored to welcome such iconic culinary concepts to our hotel and to the city. From Zaytinya’s vibrant Mediterranean flavors to the rooftop energy of Butterfly, these new venues will not only redefine dining in The Gulch, they’ll become part of the rhythm of Nashville itself.”
