With Parents as Partners, Conexión Américas and a team of parent volunteers deliver workshops for six to nine weeks to build knowledge for Latino parents about what happens inside Metro Nashville Public Schools. It’s delivered in Spanish, and the sessions end with a parent-to-parent connection and graduation. My kid’s school had a successful cohort last year, and the parents left with a way better sense of how to understand how things flow at the school and in the district.
