Technically, it’s not cheating to select both Franklin’s Haven and 12South’s Hero, as both boutiques are owned by celebrity stylist and tastemaker Claudia Fowler. Since 2006, Haven has been a destination for fashionistas searching for that perfect piece, whether it’s a luxury closet staple hot off the runway or a statement bauble from an emerging jewelry designer. Fowler’s recently opened Hero has more casual-yet-upscale offerings, with window displays tempting enough to tear you away from the everlasting line at nearby Jeni’s. No ice cream in the store, though.
