Visit 'A Nashville Nightmare Before Christmas' or Face the Wrath of Krampus

In my book, any charitable event that upsets the Holy Rollers by doing good works gets a pat on the back. So you have one last night — tonight — to see “A Nashville Nightmare Before Christmas'' (I see what you did there) from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Along the lines of last week's Horrific Haunted Holiday and Toy Drive, it's a special Christmas-themed edition of Nashville Nightmare, the Madison haunted house that's among Middle Tennessee's top Halloween attractions.

The cool ghouls from Horror High are on break, but Night Terrors knows no holiday away from work. Zombie Santa's apparently stopped this year at the N-squared, infecting the other monsters with his own flair and helping them redecorate the place. Milk and cookies will be skipped, so he may drink the cranial fluid from the smartest person in your group (Egg-Noggin?) if you don't put him and helpers down in the Paintball Booth. But do bring an unwrapped gift to save $5 off the otherwise normally $20 admission price.

Nashville Nightmare is located at 1016 Madison Square in Madison. Scary Christmas!
