After talking with President Obama, you'd think Marc Maron would have no where left to go. But not so! Since that historical conversation — which you should listen to if you haven't already, regardless of your political leanings — Maron has hosted conversations with illustrious guests like Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace, Breaking Bad's Vince Gilligan, and Sinbad, who belongs to us all.
The latest guest to come through Maron's garage is Nashville resident Harmony Korine, who was on WTF previously in a pretty awkward interview around the time Spring Breakers came out. But this time the interview lands, and Korine talks about, among other things, living in a gentrifying Nashville, his thoughts on Americana, a new film he's preparing to shoot with Benicio del Toro and Idris Elba, and how much New York City has changed since Kids, which was released 20 years ago last week.
Listen up. And watch "Blood of Havana," a short Korine shot in 2010 that he and Maron discuss in the interview, after the jump.
