Brent Stewart, Country Life's featured artist for July, sent me a collection of snapshots he took that summarize his work, inspirations and personal objects. Call it the ephemera that creates the white noise that surrounds his artistic mind-space, or just call it whatever junk he looks at a lot. I think it's intriguing, and I hope you will too.

Look for Brent's answers to our questionnaire in a blog post next week, plus a preview of his upcoming show at Zeitgeist in the August 2 print issue of the Scene.
