to Nashville this Saturday, Aug. 9. Anchal Project is a social enterprise that helps marginalized women leave the commercial sex trade by providing career opportunities in the textile industry. In addition to offering an alternative revenue stream, this helps women rediscover their self-worth as well as their creativity.

The roadshow will feature hand-stitched, one-of-a-kind quilts, pillows, scarves, tote bags, and other textiles made from vintage saris. The sale of these items provides the women who make them with income, health care and educational and job training.
