Former President Donald Trump will raise money in Nashville later this month as he continues to seek the Republican nomination for a third run at the presidency.
According to an invitation obtained by Scene sister publication the Nashville Post, Trump will be joined by Kid Rock and the Tennessee GOP congressional delegation, including Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty and Reps. Andy Ogles, John Rose and Mark Green.
The event is scheduled for Feb. 22 in Nashville, though no venue is listed. A VIP reception comes with a $6,600 donation.
Tennessee's Super Tuesday presidential primary will be held on March 5. Trump's lone remaining major competitor for the nomination is Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and Trump's ambassador to the United Nations. Trump recently said Haley supporters would be "permanently barred" from his movement.
President Joe Biden is facing nominal competition for the Democratic nomination.
