After claiming that a history test given on Sept. 11 was part of an "absolute Islamic invasion" — because it required students to learn about Islam — Greg Locke, pastor of the Wilson County Global Vision Bible Church, has a message of encouragement for Tennessee schoolchildren: Kids, flunk history, because it's a Muslim conspiracy. From Raw Story:

Locke offers some advice to parents: “You need to tell your kids, ‘Take an F for the class.’ Because I’d rather fail in man’s class and get an A+ in God’s class. And we need to have some kids that have some character, that stand up. Because we do not serve the god of the nation is Islam. We do not serve Allah.”

In fact, Locke says that he has removed his children from public schools and started homeschooling them to prevent Islamic indoctrination.

Well, folks, it's true. History is a Muslim conspiracy. But Locke has no idea. This conspiracy goes much, much deeper. Algebra? It's a Muslim word that means "the reunion of broken parts." And, since it's the basis of most math, all math is part of the conspiracy. Get this: We wouldn't even have known about zero if Muslim scholars hadn't translated Indian texts and told us about it! It's probably safest for kids to just stop using math.

But look! I-440 has a zero right in its name, thus proving it serves Allah when it carries traffic. So people probably should stay off the road. And I even heard that Bill Haslam uses math, proving he's a part of the conspiracy.

Yep, everything in Davidson County — all part of a Muslim conspiracy. If your state representatives and state senators keep coming to Nashville, well, bad news. They're also a part of it. It runs deep. The safest thing for Tennesseans who fear Islamic influence is just never to leave their hometowns and to demand that their state legislators also stay home. It's best for all of us.

Betsy Phillips will be off for the next two weeks from Pith.
