United Nations, you ain't seen nothin' yet
As an institution, the United Nations isn't held in very high regard by Americans. For the better part of the past 60 years, we've become
increasingly disdainfulof the 193-member international peacekeeping agency we helped to create; vilifying it when it doesn't support our unilateral wars of aggression, or worse, imbuing it with malevolent intent when we suspect it of engineering
a worldwide totalitarian government led by shape-shifting reptilian aliens, evil Illuminati-Zionist bankers and UNICEF donation-drives.
So depending on where you fall on the anti-UN/conspiracy spectrum, the news that anti-Murfreesboro-mosque champion Laurie Cardoza-Moore has been appointed special envoy to the U.N. on Middle Eastern Affairs is either merely puzzling, further evidence that the U.N. has a few screws loose or yet another sign of the impending apocalypse.
From a press release disseminated by Cardoza-Moore's anti-Islamic, melodramatically named nonprofit Proclaiming Justice to the Nations:
Recently appointed as a Special Envoy to the UN on Middle Eastern Affairs, Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President and Founder of the International organization, Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN) is in New York this week for a special briefing with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. In her new appointment, announced in September, Ms. Cardoza-Moore serves in the capacity as the World Council of Independent Christian Churches (WCICC) Special Non-Governmental Representative to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Her area of specialty is Middle East Affairs, Jewish/Christian relations and Human Rights. As an integral part of her new role, Ms. Cardoza-Moore offers a significant onsite presence for Israel — a presence which began with the September UN sessions.
