Convicted Mass Murderer Paul Dennis Reid Pronounced Dead

Paul Dennis Reid, convicted of the murders of seven fast-food workers during a 1997 crime spree, has died. From the Tennessee Department of Corrections:

NASHVILLE, TN — Offender Paul Dennis Reid was pronounced dead on November 1, 2013 at 5:55p.m. by a physician at Nashville General Hospital at Meharry.
Reid, 55, was sentenced to death for the 1997 First Degree Murders of: · Sarah Jackson, 16, and Steve Hampton, 25, at the Captain D’s in Donelson.
· Andrea Brown, 17, Ronald Santiago, 27, and Robert Sewell Jr., 23, at the McDonalds in Hermitage.
· Angela Holmes, 21, and Michelle Mace, 16, at the Baskin-Robbins in Clarksville.

He was also convicted of the Attempted First Degree Murder of Antonio Gonzalez.
The cause of death will be determined by the State’s Medical Examiner.
