These guys would get a welcome reception at the Tennessee Capitol
The Aryan Nation, that onetime force of cracker supremacy run aground in the early 2000s, is seeking new recruits. With the black guy in the White House, the whiteys from Idaho feel it's only a matter of time before the Great Honky Insurrection is back in play.
Alas, it may not go as easy as planned. A recent leafletting drive in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho — which featured fliers with a young girl asking her father "Why did those dark men take mommy away?" — seemed to do little more than prompt calls to the cops.
But maybe the group is simply fishing the wrong waters. With all the gymnastics the Tennessee legislature is playing to avoid a vote to regret slavery, we're guessing they'd get a much better reception here in Capitol Hill. RSVP Reps. Gerald McCormick and Eric Watson.
