The last time Willie Nelson played Nashville,
it was at The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel back in May. Before that, he played
Zac Brown Band's 2013 Southern Ground Festival on the riverfront, and before that, he celebrated his 80th birthday with
a special, invite-only taping at Third Man Records. So, plenty of opportunities to see the Red-Headed Stranger in Music City over the past couple of years. But you know where Willie hasn't played in a hot minute? The Mother Church of Country Music.
Nelson will play a two-night stand at the Ryman Auditorium on March 3 and 4, just about two months shy of his 82nd birthday. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. via this link, and those will cost you between $39.50 and $79.50.
To get psyched for the shows, watch some killer Willie performances and videos — "Crazy" at the Opry in 1965, singing "On the Road Again" with President Obama and more — after the jump.
