What's Worse? Willie Nelson Singing With Jessica Simpson or Willie Nelson Singing About Tacos? [Oh the Humility]

It’s Tuesday. That’s how you know Willie Nelson got busted for possessing pot on his tour bus last week.

Or you know that from watching CNN

. Or you know it because

D. Patrick Rodgers mentioned it in a post yesterday

. When crafting said post, Rodgers called the longtime cannabis champion and country music legend a “baller.” While no one could ever strip the perennially ballin’ Nelson of his baller status, the man himself is never scared to test the limits of his Teflon credibility.

Perhaps that explains his series of collaborations with famous-for-the-sake-of-being-famous pop (country, et al.) “singer” Jessica Simpson. Having previously worked with Simpson twice — first on a cover of “These Boots Are Made for Walking” for the Dukes of Hazzard OST, then appearing as Simpson’s “Pap Paw” in 2007’s homage to Working Girl, Blonde Ambition — Nelson’s goin’ for a Simp-phonic three-peat with an appearance on Simpson’s latest record, Happy Christmas.

Yeah. Really.
