The Grilled Cheeserie Rolls Into a Semi-Permanent Spot at the Nashville Farmers' Market

Good news for grilled cheese fans: perennial Best of Nashville Best Food Truck winner, The Grilled Cheeserie has rolled into a semi-permanent location at the Nashville Farmers' Market. Owners Crystal De Luna-Bogan and Joseph Bogan recently purchased a second truck that allows them to park one truck at the market (so you always know where to find them) and have the other out serving on a rotating schedule and at private events.

The market truck is parked in Farm Shed 2, which has a number of picnic tables so you can sit and enjoy your sandwich (and tots and dessert — never skip the tots or dessert). You also have the opportunity to shop while you're waiting on your sandwich. I dropped by on Friday and was pleased to see a number of farmers already have winter squashes and tons of apples, including McIntosh and Honeycrisp. I might've also bought three fried pies from a nearby vendor despite also getting a butterscotch banana pudding from The Grilled Cheeserie for dessert.

The Grilled Cheeserie will be at the market Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. When I visited, there was already a line at 11 a.m., but by noon, the crowd had thinned and lunch was being served quickly, so if time is of the essence, I suggest visiting after noon.
