Show of hands: Who here has been to an evangelical revival? No, watching

the one on True Detective

doesn't count. Well, Nashville-residing rock 'n' roll stars The Black Keys want to take you to the river. They want to see the spirit wash over you. They want to give you the fever.

Yesterday we shared with you a clip of the Keys playing their new single "Fever" on Later ... With Jools Holland. Unfortunately, the clip has since been pulled from YouTube thanks to a copyright claim from the BBC (bummerino), but no worries: Frontman "Pastor" Dan Auerbach and drummer "Brother" Patrick Carney now have an official video for the patently non-bluesy "Fever," and you can watch that above. The video was directed by Theo Wenner (son of Rolling Stone founder Jann Wenner) and features a sweat-soaked Auerbach proselytizing to pewsful of sad, sappy suckers while Carney looks on and takes a nip or two from his flask.

If you're wondering about that phone number that appears onscreen throughout the video (1-646-397-6172), it is indeed active. If you give it a ring, you'll find an occasionally indecipherable pre-recorded message that begins with a man saying, "I'm calling because I'm interested in you releasing my album." If you ask me, the guy sounds a little bit like Carney (a known troll) dialing up labels unsolicited. But I'll admit I could be way off the mark with that educated guess. And besides, the Keys have a label. Their eighth studio album, Turn Blue, will be released May 13 via Nonesuch Records.

Update: I was right about the voice in that pre-recorded message being that of prankster Pat Carney. Read more about the prank here, and listen to Carney's handiwork after the jump.
