As we get nearer to the June 10 release date for Turn to Gold, the third LP from pop-punk guitarmonizers Diarrhea Planet, we've heard two songs (ICYMI, hear the raucous "Life Pass" and the stereophonic delight "Let It Out").
For the latest entry in their Songs Illustrated series, Paste called on Benjamin Marra, who runs a publisher called Traditional Comics and was the first contributing illustrator to a new run of Heavy Metal, to draw a short comic inspired by the next song from Turn to Gold.
Using the lyrics to a shreddy autobiographical number about getting turned on to music called "Bob Dylan's Grandma," Marra came up with an adventure for a skeleton who wields a six-string that is also a literal axe and his alien sword-fighter girlfriend.
