Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars play tomorrow (Friday) night at the Belcourt, and it's a can't-miss show. The band members all met in refugee camps fleeing the civil war in Sierra Leone and have been through unimaginable horrors. But most importantly, their music rocks. Check out the trailer from the documentary about the band at the previously linked site. Or see a story I wrote in this week's Scene. (Forgive my self-indulgence. I wouldn't tout my own story here if it weren't for a great cause).
