Happy Monday! How's about a dose of smoooooth to follow up your morning coffee? Nigerian-born sophisti-pop queen Sade and her band — who are, um, also known as Sade — will bring their unprecedentedly velvety jams to Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 1. Will they play "Smooth Operator"? No need to ask.
Tickets will be available beginning Saturday, June 25, at 10 a.m. via Live Nation, and they'll cost you anywhere between a sleek $29.50 and a glassy $149.50. There's only one thing that could throw an unsmooth fly in the very smooth ointment that is this news: a conflicting show from a legacy act on the night of Aug. 1. Oh, right. Bob Dylan is playing The Ryman on Aug. 1. You'll have to make a decision. Whatever you decide, be sure to decide it in a smooth fashion.
