Bob Dylan to Play The Ryman Aug. 1

Posted By on Thu, Jun 16, 2011 at 11:16 AM

The last time I went to see a 70-year-old sing in a church, it was Mother's Day, and I got a free spaghetti dinner. No spaghetti this go-'round, as recent septuagenarian Bob Dylan will bring his current tour to The Mother Church on Monday, Aug. 1. According to his website, anyhow.

The site says pre-sale tickets for The Ryman show will be available Tuesday, June 21, at 10 a.m., and regular tickets go on sale Friday, June 24, at 10 a.m. For good measure, watch last year's performance of "The Times They Are A-Changin' " at The White House above, and watch that bizarre video for "Must Be Santa" below.
