The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via CBS All Access, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. Last week, Kacey Musgraves released her excellent third LP Golden Hour. The LP is marked by a bit of a self-reflective turn that's equally as nuanced as her more outward-looking Same Trailer, Different Park and Pageant Material.Â
In the pre-Easter weekend scramble, you might have missed Musgraves' performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Above, check out her and her band's spin on Golden Hour's opening track "Slow Burn." It's a rich, intimate presentation of a song about what you can find when you open up and take things in: "I'm alright with a slow burn / Taking my time, letting the world turn," Musgraves sings. It's a tune that rewards you taking your time with it. Check it out above.Â
