Pawn Shop Alert: JEFF the Brotherhood's Guitars Stolen ... Again

You might remember that some champion asshat stole some gear from JEFF the Brotherhood back in 2011, including the white Ibanez guitar Jake Orrall had played since the band's inception — the jacked-up, sentimental-value-only three-string wonder with "JAMIN" written on it in black Sharpie.

Well, here's a case of déjà vu nobody needed. Eventually, Jake replaced the guitar with a pair of custom Lucite SG copies built by Scale Model Guitars' Dave Johnson. On Saturday night, someone stole them while the band was in Nashville between tour dates.

They're arguably two of the most distinctive axes you'll see. Besides being made of clear plastic, they've got reverse headstocks (marked on the back with serial numbers 50 and 51) and a pair of large triangular cutouts in the wide bit at the bottom which guitar nerds refer to as the "lower bout." That makes them tough to pawn, but keep your eyes out.

In a post to Facebook, the band asks anyone who finds the guitars to inform the police. In case you don't remember the awful radio commercials from the early Aughts, the non-emergency number for Metro Nashville Police is 615-862-8600.
