"Congenial Man," the latest sneak peek at Okey Dokey's forthcoming debut full-length Love You, Mean It, is a sweet, catchy ditty that's two parts Tin Pan Alley pop to one part electronic music dating from the Ford administration. It's all about finding your better half, that person who "completes you," as dweebs are wont to say. The sentiment stands up, but that phrase — nails on a chalkboard, right?

Semantics aside, the music video uses vintage techniques to split the faces of core members Aaron Martin and Johny Fisher and send them careening through the digital void like spaceships in Galaga. The clip was filmed and edited by video artist and soon-to-be-former Queen Ave partner Mike Kluge (whose Living Room was awarded Best Video Installation in the Scene's Best of Nashville 2016).

Check it out above, and look for Love You, Mean It to hit physical and digital record racks near you on January 10, 2017.
