Here's a tour that you might not have expected, but which makes perfect sense. Following a year in which they both sold out theaters and auditoriums on the strength of acclaimed solo albums, pop wizard Kesha and genre-bending MC Macklemore are hitting the road together next summer for something even grander in scope.Â
The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore tour is hitting arenas across North America, landing at Bridgestone Arena on July 13. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Dec. 15 at noon right here.Â
Top albums and well-attended tours aren't the only thing the pair have in common, of course. You might remember that Kesha worked with Macklemore's frequent collaborator Ryan Lewis on some of the key tunes on her outstanding record Rainbow, and she also joined up with Macklemore on "Good Old Days" from his LP Gemini. Below, check out a live performance of that, as well as a cheeky little tour announcement video in which Kesh convinces the Mack not to make ... well, let's just call it a less-than-stellar career move.Â
