Iron Maiden at Bridgestone Arena, 9/5/2013
Five years ago, Iron Maiden made their first stop in Nashville in 21 years, and it was nothing short of metal perfection. They returned in 2017, bringing Ghost as well as the hope that Music City will be a more frequent haunt. Lo and behold, it seems the prophecy is coming true.
The Legacy of the Beast Tour is set to stop at Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 19, 2019. Ticket prices haven't been announced yet, but they will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, right here.
The show will be a bit of a family affair: Opening act The Raven Age was co-founded by guitarists Dan Wright and George Harris, the latter of whom is Maiden bassist Steve Harris' son. A press release indicates that this tour boasts longtime fan favorites, deep cuts and Maiden's "biggest production ever," including undead mascot Eddie, flamethrowers and a real Spitfire aircraft.Â
You could check out the whole thing on YouTube, as fans (who presumably trained their arms by hoisting lots of invisible oranges) have posted phone-shot vids of the entire two-hour performance from European dates. But why would you do that to yourself (ahead of the show, at any rate)? Get a little taste via the promo teaser below.
