Nashville Restaurant Week.
Today kicks off the fall installment of the twice-yearly event put on by the Nashville Originals, the organization that unites dozens of great independent restaurants in Nashville. The event runs through this Sunday, Aug. 25.
Many participating restaurants offer special fixed menus at $20.13 or $30.13 per person for dinner, but there are other specials, including breakfast and lunch deals at some of the establishments.
As Lesley put it, "Restaurant Week is a great excuse to get out and try out a new place while spending your money locally. There are even participating restaurants in Brentwood and Franklin, for those of you in Williamson County."
