Hear it here first - Nashville restaurateur Austin Ray introduces his neighborhood pub's next location and name change to online viewers.

Back in January

we reported

that the owners of the popular Melrose Pub in the Melrose neighborhood announced they'd be spinning off a second location on Charlotte, something Nashville Post real estate sleuth

J.R. Lind had sussed out

a year ago. But the team offered few details, not even the name.

Well, now we know the reason why. Owner Austin Ray has renamed the original pub and the whole concept to M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers, making the name less neighborhood-specific, and also emphasizing two key angles of the business: craft beer and burgers.
