Mac Sabbath, the McDonaldized Black Sabbath Tribute Band, to Play Exit/In

Mac Sabbath

In a stroke of good fortune for Music City, the folks over at Exit/In have announced what's sure to be THE fast-food metal show of the Spring. Mac Sabbath – L.A.'s greatest (and only) McDonald's-themed Black Sabbath band – will make its Nashville debut on March 14 at the hallowed Rock Block haunt.

Potentially a target for multiple cease and desist orders, the band's members dress as hesher doppelgangers of the most beloved McDonaldland characters and adapt Sabbath lyrics as homages to all things Golden Arches. This really is a real band that functions and tours and sells merch. Mac-Sab played Download Festival and most recently headlined a Halloween gig at the Whisky-A-Go-Go, where the OTHER Sabbath made its U.S. Debut in 1971.

If parody metal and fast food puns are your bag, this show promises to be a lot more entertaining than Super Size Me.

Tickets are $15 and you can get 'em here.

This video (below) is great. These dudes are obviously Sabbath Nerds of the highest order - He even does the claps Ozzy does live on "Children of the Grave."
