The men and the song in this video don't need any introduction, but one thing I wonder, having never seen this particular clip in a higher-fidelity format: Is Waylon Jennings using a

on his guitar? Now, it sounds like it, but it could be a couple of other things. Maybe he's using the "Nashville tuning" (which isn't really a tuning but can create a chorus-like sound). Or maybe it's just the sound quality, as lossy formats like YouTube often create audio artifacts that mimic a chorus effect. A friend of mine recently said that nothing makes him cringe more than the sound a guitar played through a chorus pedal, and while I don't necessarily agree with that—"Come as You Are," for one, is alright in my book—ol' Waylon's guitar does sound a little weird in the context of this song.
