I know what you're thinking: But we've already had

a giveaway

on the Cream today, right? Well, we're feeling charitable this fine Thursday, this first day of March. As you all likely know, Philly's Dr. Dog will be playing War Memorial Auditorium on Saturday night — read

my feature on the ever-beloved Dog

, if you like — and local garage-punk champs PUJOL will open.

Partially because we didn't want to do yet another tired-ass caption contest, and partially in honor of PUJOL frontman Daniel Pujol's EGGS poem series right here on the Cream, we thought we'd mix things up a bit. In the comments section, leave an original haiku. We're going with the conventional five-seven-five syllable format, and rhyming isn't necessary. As far as subject matter goes, well, that's entirely up to you. Though I can't say that I wouldn't personally be impressed if you managed to work Pooj or the Dog or something about rock 'n' roll in there somehow. Mr. Pujol and yours truly will pick a winner tomorrow at 3 p.m., and that winner will receive a spot on the guest list with a +1, as well as a copy of PUJOL's 2011 Saddle Creek release, the Nasty, Brutish and Short EP.

Don't forget to include your email address in the appropriate field. We won't publish it, but we'll need it in order to contact our winner. All right, get a move on!

Update:

We have our winner! See below, and thanks for playing.
