challengedone W. Axl Rose to get in the ring and bring his Slash-less, Izzy-less, Duff-less incarnation of Guns N' Roses to The Ryman Oct. 10 to fill a hole left by an Adele cancellation. While that request went unanswered, today — rounding out a week in which Sarah Palin and Chris Christie predictably announced they would not bid for the Oval Office — Rose (via Live Nation) did, after two weeks of
sleeping on it, announce a date and some deets for a forthcoming Music City showdown — Dec. 4 at Bridgestone Arena. Tickets range in price from $39-$79 and go on sale next Friday, Oct. 14,
