Good People Brewing Co. Launching Cult IPA in Nashville With a Week of Events
Good People Brewing Co.

out of Birmingham, Ala., has earned a decent following in Nashville since launching their line of canned craft beers here, but we've been unable to purchase their most sought-after product. Snake Handler is a very popular Double IPA California ale made with five different types of hops: Columbus, Warrior, Cascade, Simcoe and Chinook. The resulting product is, as you'd expect, intensely hoppy, with floral, pine and citrus overtones. It's also been unavailable in Nashville until now.

Starting next week, Good People will begin distributing Snake Handler on draft in Nashville bars and restaurants. To celebrate, they have scheduled a whole week's worth of events at some of your favorite watering holes around town Feb. 10-14. All these events kick off at 5 p.m., so find one that's convenient and go grab some snakes.

· Tuesday, Feb. 10: Good People Tap Takeover at 12 South Tap Room. Snake Handler on draft as well as other Good People brews: Bearded Lady, Fatso, Pale Ale, IPA, and the Coffee Oatmeal Stout.

· Thursday, Feb. 12: Beer dinner at Rudie’s Seafood and Sausage, including seven different pairings of food and Good People beer

· Thursday, Feb. 12: Brewhouse Midtown will be offering a pint-glass giveaway and three Good People beers on tap.

· Friday, Feb. 13: Good People Tap Takeover at Flying Saucer featuring Snake Handler and four other Good People beers.

· Beginning Friday, Feb. 13, East Nashville's 3 Crow Bar and Five Points Pizza will offer Snake Handler on draft.
