I've never been what you'd call a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan. I never understood what the
BFD about SRVwas, and I've always left it at that. Also, guitar straps that are two feet wide and have musical notes printed on them tend to give me the douchebumps. But I have to say, this clip of Vaughan (RIP) doing "Superstition" at Starwood (RIP) in the '80s (RIP) is pretty dope. I mean, maybe it's just that this song brings out the best in people, or maybe it's a "Stevie" thing, but whatever it is, I tip my cap (with a giant white feather in it). Not that SRV comes close to touching
this incredibleness, mind you, but who could? And it's nice to see people rockin' out in our old outdoor venue with its giant pillars and all that.
