Dylan to Play Cannery Ballroom on Aug. 30

Oh, it's Dylan alright.

On Wednesday I bettered each and every one of your lives by posting a clip of Bob Dylan playing at Municipal Auditorium in 1999. Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that it was his 68th birthday. Sorry Bob. It was most likely just a coincidence that I happened upon that clip on what I guess should be called Christmas II. I mean, like Jesus, Dylan has timeless qualities and teachings that I can say, with utmost confidence, will continue to transcend from generation to generation and bear revelatory fruit for mankind until the End of Days. And it would be nice to have a summer holiday with obligatory presents. So, given that Dylan—who, like Jesus, was also born a Jew—is a more than suitable prophet and messiah for mankind in modern times, I bet you'd all be pretty stoked if I were to tell you that he was coming to the Cannery Ballroom on Aug. 30 to preach the gospel.
