Cream Premiere: See Inside Earl Burrows' Fortress of Solitude in 'Our Kind' [Fresh Vid]

So, did the new Batman v Superman movie (or hearing about the decidedly mixed reactions to it all weekend) have you wishing you could rely on the sage advice of your dad's giant floating head? Have no fear, Earl Burrows is here! 

The alt-psych-rock outfit, consisting of Raconteurs and Shins utility man Mark Watrous, his brother Joel and Carson Medders, came together after Mark moved his family from New York to Nashville. The change in culture was a bit of a shock, as he explained to Consequence of Sound last fall. At least one result of facing that challenge is "Our Kind," one of the standout tracks from the group's Brendan Benson-produced debut No Love for the Drowning, which they released in September 2015. 

We're very pleased to premiere the equally-well-produced video for "Our Kind," directed by Mark Watrous and Jo McCaughey. It likens the journey between cities to being shot across the galaxy from your home world — in this case, a futuristic Fortress of Solitude-esque installation populated by the band and a host of stern-faced elders, played by some folks you might recognize: Medders' brother Will (who was in the band for a time), Julian Dorio of The Whigs and Eagles of Death Metal, Jem Cohen of The Ettes and Fond Object and more.
