Bonnaroo 2015 Schedule Offers Tough Choices: Deadmau5 vs. RtJ, Sturgill vs. Spoon, Shakes vs. Musgraves, MMJ vs. Belle & Sebastian and more

So, Bonnaroo announced its 2015 schedule today. As expected, Kendrick Lamar and Deadmau5 will split What Stage headlining duties on Friday night, Mumford & Sons will top the main stage unopposed on Saturday, and Billy Joel will close out the whole shebang on Sunday. That makes Deadmau5 the first EDM star to ever do a late-night show on What. Good for him. But what's fucked up about that is he'll face off against Earth, Wind & Fire and Run the Jewels, who will simultaneously take to the tent stages.

Indeed, this annual announcement doubles as both a fun reminder that Bonnaroo is just around the bend and a sobering reminder that life is full of tough choices. This year, Bonnaroovians will find themselves at such crossroads as deciding: Sturgill Simpson or Spoon; Alabama Shakes or Kacey Musgraves; My Morning Jacket or Belle & Sebastian — all artists who will appear on simultaneous stages. Of course, Bonnaroo 2015 is where you'll be able to see Slayer and D'Angelo play back to back on the same stage, so life's not all that bad. Unless you're a Bassnectar fan, of course — he does his DJ thing at the same time as Slayer AND D'Angelo.
