But frontman, and part-time standup comedian, Chris Crofton spends his Wednesday mornings hosting "Best of Bread" on WRVU (that's 91.1 FM or you can listen online at wrvu.org—you might have to download RealPlayer to listen, but that only takes a minute). The show runs from 9am till 11am (or later) and over the course of show you can hear everything from Prince to the Replacements to John Denver to Ben Lee to The Minutemen to The Strokes to live Billy Joel. It's developed a devout following, as evidenced by the plethora of phone calls into the studio—that Chris answers on air.
