Restaurant operating company M. Tangredi Restaurants has filed court papers seeking reorganization in bankruptcy, reports NashvillePost.com (subscription required).
The company operated three establishments, Tangredi's on Elliston Place, T's Tuscan Grill on Belcourt, and Michael T's nightclub on Division. Mr. T's ceased operation December 19Â when the landlord reclaimed the property for failure to carry adequate insurance.
The other two establishments are facing eviction suits. The property owner of the Elliston Place location filed in January. The property owner of Michael T's filed before it opened.
The Tangredi company also is facing a Department of Labor suit requiring it to release employment and payroll records.
Both Tangredi's and Michael T's were open for business Wednesday.
