Alison Mosshart Gets Swept Away in The Dead Weather's 'I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)' [Fresh Vid]

Earlier this week, locally based supergroup The Dead Weather — the quartet featuring Jack White, The Kills' Alison Mosshart, The Raconteurs' Little Jack Lawrence and ubiquitous sideman Dean Fertita — released their video for "I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)" exclusively via TIDAL. The move made sense, seeing as how White is one of the shareholders of the streaming service that debuted earlier this year with the promise of exclusives and high-quality audio.

But now, just four days after the TIDAL premiere, The Dead Weather is offering a look at the Ian and Cooper-directed "I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)" video via YouTube, and you can watch it after the jump. The video features frontwoman Mosshart battling hurricane-force gales as she walks up an abandoned city street. Each time the song's thumbing, sinewy chorus kicks in, the video transitions from black-and-white to color, and Mosshart is knocked off her feet. White, who plays drums in the band, doesn't make an appearance in the clip, nor do Lawrence or Fertita.

The Dead Weather's third LP, Dodge and Burn, will be released Sept. 25 via White's Third Man Records, and you can pre-order it here. The band has stated that they "will not be touring in support of the new album," so if you're a fan, you'd better relish every little peek at the DW you can get. Dig in after the jump.
