Jim Henson’s Holiday Special Feat. Emmet Otter and Fraggle Rock

You don’t hear about 1977’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas and 1985’s The Bells of Fraggle Rock around the holidays as much as you do, say, A Charlie Brown Christmas or Christmas Vacation. But the two Jim Henson films are indeed important entries in the Christmas-movie canon. Both are being shown at 600 theaters across the country on Sunday, and multiple Regal locations in Nashville are on that list. Come watch Emmet Otter and his jug band try to score some Christmas cash in a talent show against some rich kids, and see if Gobo can renew his faith in the Festival of the Bells.
