On Tuesday, Dana Kopp Franklin reported that
The Local Taco is opening an East Nashville outpost, which got me thinking (no small feat) about my favorite Nashville tacos. Truth is, the humble taco is probably one of the most widely available food items in town these days.
I've narrowed my list of favorite tacos down to three. In no particular order, they are: fish tacos at El Jaliciense, carne molida tacos at Mas Tacos and the tacos al pastor at Taqueria San Luis (on Harding Road near I-24).
I've never actually been to The Local Taco, so I can't weigh in.
What about you? Who's serving your favorite taco these days?
And where do you stand on corn vs. flour tortillas? I am corn all the way. I really do not enjoy flour tortillas. Too pasty. You? Let's taco ’bout it.
