Much as with concurrent music festival Bonnaroo, marketers have taken note of the audience at the CMA Music Festival and seized the opportunity to promote their brands. Certainly, food and beverage companies such as Pepsi and Jack Daniel's are CMA Fest no-brainers, but other sponsors and exhibitors include SPAM, Kotex and Pyrex.
Pyrex? Yes, Pyrex. As part of the brand's 100th anniversary, the the company is taking Pyrex on the road for a mobile tour, with one stop right here during the festival (fresh off their appearance at the Indy 500). Maybe that doesn't sound exciting, but to Pyrex fans and collectors, it is. The Pyrex mobile tour includes Guinness World Records-certified World’s Largest Measuring Cup, games, an interactive photo booth, displays of vintage and current Pyrex pieces and a chance to enter the 100 Days of Giveaway Sweepstakes, where one person will win pieces from Pyrex’s Limited Edition Centennial Line each day.
The Pyrex tent will no doubt be a popular stop this week for both Pyrex fans and people trying to take a break from the weather. You can find them on Broadway, between Third and Fourth starting tomorrow (Thursday, June 11) through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day.
