We hear that Martin's Bar-B-Que, the celebrated home for fine 'cue in Nolensville, will be one of the restaurants showcased Monday on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Fieri visited a whole batch of Nashville restaurants in April, and we've been looking forward to watching the results. Monday's episode, which airs at 9 p.m. on the Food Network, is titled "Porkapalooza." While the synopsis on the Food Network website doesn't currently mention Martin's, the restaurant says it was notified that it will be featured on the episode.
One of TV's most popular chefs, Fieri (who also hosts NBC's game show Minute to Win It), is known for his spiky blond hair, goatee and a personality as colorful as his bowling shirts. Many of the Nashvillians who met him said he was actually pretty earnest and charming.
Other places Fieri visited while here include Arnold's, Athens Family Restaurant, Bro's Cajun Cuisine, Café Rakka in Hendersonville, Jamaicaway in the Farmers Market and Savarino’s. No word yet on when those segments will air.
