Blue Moon Lagoon: A Season Brings a New Chef

I've been eagerly checking the weather report to schedule a trip out to Blue Moon Lagoon, which may be the best situated restaurant in Nashville, bobbing on a dock at Rock Harbor Marina in the Cumberland.

The big news on the waterfront is that chef Freddy Brooker is manning the kitchen as the new season kicks off. You may remember Freddy from the early days of The Trace and most recently from the Le Creuset store in the new Hill Center in Green Hills. The menu promises to change frequently, but there's a sample posted on the website.

If you get to Blue Moon Lagoon (525 Basswood Ave.) before we do, please report back on Bites. (There's a high of 72 degrees predicted for Friday night.)
