Ramen at Two Ten Jack

The Nashville-based company that operates Two Ten Jack in East Nashville is eyeing the city’s West Side for its Japanese-inspired izakaya restaurant.

According to a Metro permit application document, Two Ten Jack will operate at the mixed-use Sylvan Supply Co. The address is 4109 Charlotte Ave. — Two Ten Jack seemingly will take the space previously accommodating Otaku Ramen.

The permit notes GTZ Construction LLC will handle the build-out of the space.

Patrick Burke and Seed Hospitality operate Two Ten Jack at 1900 Eastland Ave. in East Nashville, having opened the business in 2014. The Asian cuisine restaurant is also found at 1110 Market St. in Chattanooga.

“We are excited to announce our expansion to the West Side and can't wait to bring our ramen and the izakaya experience to Sylvan Park and The Nations,” Two Ten Jack chef and partner Jessica Benefield tells the Scene. “We'll be celebrating our 12th birthday in East Nashville this January and are looking forward to continuing the celebrations with an early spring opening of West.”

Benefield says her team will soon launch a campaign via crowdfunding site WeFunder “where other locals will be able to join us as investors in our growth.”
