The Baked Bear Will Bring Ice Cream Sandwiches to Nashville

The Baked Bear, a franchised business focused on handmade ice cream sandwiches, will open in Midtown on Friday, July 17.

This will be the company’s first Tennessee location.

Specifically, the sweets shop will be located at 1809 Division St., in a portion of the building last home to Whiskey Rhythm Saloon, and with a main address of 1811 Division St.

Athyn Galardi will serve as the general manager, with the business to employ two full-time and 27 part-time workers. The shop will be open seven days per week.

Brentwood-based WEBCON Builders handled the build-out of the 1,500-square-foot space.

Founded in San Diego in 2013 by Shane Stanger and Rob Robbins, The Baked Bear also has locations in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas. The sweet shop is located in notable cities like Austin, San Antonio, San Francisco and St. Louis, among others.

Currently, The Baked Bear located closest to Nashville is found in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
