Get ready to enjoy, as organizers bring the heat again in Murfreesboro, as the Thai-Lao Food Fair returns to the Wat Amphawan 4880 Barfield Crescent Road. Wat Amphawan is the second Theravada Buddhist temple in Murfreesboro, established in 2009, and this fundraiser for the temple sounds like a great deal!
The party is Saturday, April 27. Your $15 entrance fee covers all you can eat (free for kids under 12), plus Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing) and cooking demonstrations, musicians and performers. If you weren’t aware of how much of a melting pot Murfreesboro has become, know that more than a dozen restaurants serving these types of food will be participating. The fun starts up at 11:30 a.m., so come hungry to discover all the exotic flavors that characterize Thai and Laotian cuisine.
