If you’re looking for something fun and novel to do tonight, drop by the Renaissance Hotel's Bridge Bar — the bar that connects the hotel with the downtown library parking garage. Every year, the Renaissance hosts a “day of discovery” where they shine a light on a local hidden gem, and this year they have chosen Skull’s Rainbow Room in Printers Alley as the subject of their spotlight.
Led by chef Gannon Leary, the Skull's entertainment team will re-create their Prohibition-era-style experience, including chef-inspired culinary treats, signature craft libations, Roaring '20s jazz piano, a musical burlesque revue and an exhibit of memorabilia from the late nightclub owner and Hee Haw regular David "Skull" Schulman. The lighting for the show in the cozy Bridge Bar will probably be even better than at Skull's.
They’ll also be giving away two tickets to the 2019 CMT Awards and some CMA Fest passes, so your odds will probably be pretty good to be a winner!
